Boucher Institute Acquires New Campus!
The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine is pleased to announce that it has acquired the 46,000 sq. ft. Columbia Centre building located at 435 Columbia Street in New Westminster , which also provides access to the Columbia Street Sky Train Station. This acquisition enables the Institute to expand its campus by occupying about half the building, in order to accommodate its growing enrollment of approximately 85 naturopathic medical students expected for the 2005/2006 academic year. Established in 2001, the Boucher Institute is Western Canada 's only initially approved college of naturopathic medicine, offering a four year, 5,000 hour program of post-graduate training culminating in a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine diploma. This new campus will provide the Institute with over 20,000 square feet of contiguous newly renovated space for modern classrooms, expanded library facilities, teaching labs, an expanded teaching clinic, administrative offices and student activities.

BINM on track for full school enrolment!
As the youngest naturopathic medical college in North America (established in the year 2000), BINM has grown considerably since its foundation establishing a strong presence in Western Canada as well as a unique approach to naturopathic medical education.
BINM accepts only 36 students per year offering the smallest class size intake in North America , allowing for high-quality student-faculty interaction and mentoring. Our application deadline for entry into the September 2008 cycle closed this past November 30 with very strong applicant profiles and numbers.
In January 2009, BINM will be starting a unique part-time ND 36-student cohort running on evenings and Saturdays for established healthcare professionals as well as for qualified individuals with previous time commitments. At that time, our school enrolment will be at full capacity, strengthening our position as a high-quality, small educational community continuing to provide a stimulating naturopathic medicine learning environment in a profoundly engaging west-coast setting.
