Tuition
January 2009 - Annual tuition for students entering the six -year, part-time track in January 2009 will be $12,600 CDN for both Canadian and international students, plus a required $75 CDN per year in student association fees.
September 2009 - Annual tuition for students entering the four-year ND program in September 2009 will be $17,950 CDN for both Canadian and international students, plus a required $75 CDN per year in student association fees.
Books and school supplies, etc., are additional and average approximately $1,500 CDN per year, with the first year cost being about twice the average. First year tuition rates are subject to incremental increases from time to time as the need arises. Additional required fees – such as graduation fees, police records checks, clinic supplies, travel and accommodation costs for the anatomy lab - amount to approximately $3,000 CDN over the entire program and will apply to the terms in which they occur.
Minerva Foundation Student Awards
BINM is delighted to inform our students and future applicants of the availability of 2 awards of $2,500 each gratiously donated by the Minerva Foundation with support from Sisu, Inc.
Minerva Foundation awards will be granted to female residents of British Columbia enrolled in a full time field of study at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and who have demonstrated financial need and academic proficiency. Preference will be given to candidates who meet at least one of the following criteria: single mothers who are advancing their education, mature women returning to the workforce after a long absence, women in non-traditional fields of study, immigrant and aboriginal women and women with disabilities.

REFUND POLICY
The BINM has adopted the refund policy legislated by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency Act of British Columbia.
A copy of the Private Career Training Institutions Agency Act of British Columbia is available at the Admissions Office at the Institute or may be obtained from BC Government Information Services.

Registered institutions must abide by the minimum refund policy requirements as defined in the PCTIA Bylaws. Institutions are free to adopt a refund policy which is more generous to the student. The following refund policy applies to the terms of this enrolment contract:
A. Refunds in Cases of Withdrawal or Dismissal
Refund Policy
All institutions must have a refund policy which is described, in full, on the student enrolment contract. The minimum policies acceptable to the Agency appear below. Institutions are free to adopt a policy that is more generous to the student.
Written Notice
To initiate a refund, written notice must be provided:
i. By a student to the institution when the student withdraws, or
ii. By the institution to the student where the institution dismisses a student.
Refund Entitlement
Refund entitlement is calculated on the total fees due under the contract, less the applicable non-refundable application or registration fee. Where total fees have not yet been collected, the institution is not responsible for refunding more than has been collected to date and a student may be required to make up for monies due under the contract.
Refund policy for students:
Refunds before the program of study begins:
i. If written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution less than seven (7) calendar days after the contract is made, and before the commencement of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the institution may retain the lesser of 10% of the total fees due under the contract or $100.
ii. Subject to subsection (a) (i), if written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution thirty (30) calendar days or more before the commencement of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the institution may retain the lesser of 10% of the total fees due under the contract, or $500.
iii. Subject to subsection (a) (i), if written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution less than thirty (30) calendar days before the commencement of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the institution may retain the lesser of 20% of the total fees due under the contract, or $1000.
Refunds after the program of study starts:
i. If written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution, or a student is dismissed, within 10% of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the institution may retain 30% of the total fees due under the contract.
ii. If written notice of withdrawal is received by the institution, or a student is dismissed, after 10% and before 30% of the period of instruction specified in the contract, the institution may retain 50% of the total fees due under the contract.
iii. If a student withdraws or is dismissed after 30% of the period of instruction specified in the contract, no refund is required.
