Groups, Clubs & Committees
Opportunities abound for students who wish to get immersed in life outside the classroom. Join our sustainability committee, become a member of our peer support team, unwind in a yoga class or get to know our sports medicine club. Whatever your interests, chances are there is a group for you.
Interested in botanical medicine? Love getting your hands dirty? Join the Garden Committee.
In the 2011-2012 year the focus will be on designing, building and maintaining a new botanical garden in Westminster Pier Park, a public park being constructed beside the Fraser River - mere blocks from campus.
The Boucher Naturopathic Students Association (BNSA) is the voice of the student body.
Association representatives are elected from each class to operate the school bookstore and organize fundraisers and student activities and liaise with members of faculty, staff and board.
Make a difference in our world with the Boucher Institute chapter of Natural Doctors International (NDI), a humanitarian organization that provides underserviced communities abroad with free naturopathic medical care. The Boucher Institute brigade fundraises and travels to Ometepe, Nicaragua once a year to work on location with members of NDI and the local communities they serve.

Learning and sustainability go hand-in-hand at the Boucher Institute. The Sustainability Committee started out as a departmental initiative, but quickly gained momentum from the student body.
The Committee is active in reducing waste, addressing air quality issues, improving recycling services and enhancing the quality of life on campus.
Helping a fellow student in need is part of the culture at the Boucher Institute.
The Sports Medicine Club brings together members of faculty, staff and the student body to discuss the role of naturopathic medicine in sports and athletics. If you're a sports enthusiast, this club is a must.
