Practicing Naturopathic Doctors needed to join the BINM clinical faculty

The Boucher Institute teaching clinic is growing, and we are looking for naturopathic doctors to join our clinical faculty. We have built an excellent team of dedicated clinical faculty, and with the anticipated increase to our full capacity of 70 interns this fall, we are looking for more naturopathic doctors to join us. If you enjoy sharing your skills and expertise with naturopathic students, and you want to help strengthen and grow our profession by training future colleagues, we would like to hear from you.

What is involved?

Clinical Supervisors undertake regular 4 to 8 hour weekly shifts. The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing patient care and intern clinical practice in the teaching clinic. Typically Supervisors oversee four treatment rooms at a time with four pairs of interns (one senior, one junior), as well as the lab and dispensary assistants.

How much experience do I need to be a supervisor?

In alignment with the international Council for Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME), BINM requires that our Clinical Faculty have at least two years of experience in clinical practice before they can supervise interns in the teaching clinic. Prior teaching experience is an asset.

Please consider joining our team. For more information, or to apply to become a BINM clinical supervisor, please contact me directly.

Thank you very much,

Dr. Isis van Loon
