Support BINM - community leaders in sustainable health

E-mail Print PDF

BINM is committed to building strong relationships with companies and other institutions interested in establishing ties with the Boucher Institute. BINM is engaged in finding sustainable solutions for growth as a community. We are committed to decreasing our environmental footprint and are actively searching for business partners to help us achieve our goals. BINM identifies four main categories for partnering:

1. Commercial companies interested in accessing naturopathic medical students to share information on their services and products. Companies are invited to participate in the following campaigns:

•  Partnering with BINM
•  Facilities naming opportunities

  • Satellite Clinic sponsorship
  • Annual Event Sponsorship:
  1. Annual All School Holiday Party – first week of Dec.
  2. Student Appreciation Day – mid March
  3. Awards and Recognition Day and End of Year Party – June
  4. Alumni Reception – during BCNA fall conference

2. Gifts and grants from foundations, companies, individuals or research funding institutions

3. Gifts specially directed to our BINM Capital Expansion Campaign

4. Student-community based initiatives that relate to community building and community interaction.

  • a Clinic newsletter, Natural Selections created and run by BINM students.
  • 2010 grad celebrations for our largest convocation class yet.
  • BNSA (Boucher Naturopathic Students Association) projects.
  • Naturopathic Doctors International projects initiated by BINM students.
  • Rooftop Botanical Garden.

BINM Tuition income is generally directed towards operational needs and expenses such as rent, hydro, salaries, office materials, etc. Monetary gifts from individual or commercial partners are directed to capital projects such as building, equipment, etc.

BINM decided to part ways with the traditional idea of needs-based fundraising and welcomes a new approach centered in building close relationships with partners interested in sharing BINM's success.
